Intentional

There's purpose in each image. Portraits start conversations, product photos create desire.

Photos that feel like you.

Working with me is meant to feel easy, natural, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. Whether you’re booking a branding session, lifestyle portraits, or wedding coverage, my goal is to create photos that feel timeless and true to you — while making you feel confident every step of the way. My background working at a social media agency has shaped the way I shoot — with intention, strategy, and an eye for content that connects.

I take a documentary approach to my work, focusing on real moments, honest emotion, and the details that make your story unique. At the same time, I’ll always guide you when needed with simple posing prompts and direction so nothing ever feels awkward or overly staged. You don’t need to know what to do — I’ve got you.

FAQ

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

First of all, you don’t need to know how to pose or “be photogenic” to have amazing photos. My job is to guide you through the entire session so it feels easy, natural, and fun. I’ll give direction the whole time — from where to stand, what to do with your hands, how to move, and little prompts that help you look effortless and confident.

The best thing you can do is show up as yourself, trust the process, and focus on enjoying the moment.

When will I receive my photos and how are they delivered?

You’ll receive your full gallery within 2-4 weeks after our session. Every image is professionally edited and delivered through an online gallery (Pixieset), where you’ll be able to download your photos in both high-resolution and web-ready formats. You can also easily share the link with friends or family and access everything in one place.

If you ever need your photos sooner for a deadline, just let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate a rush turnaround.

Can you recommend any good locations?

Yes — and I’ll always help you choose a location that matches your vibe and what you want your photos to feel like. Some of my favorite session locations around Madison include open fields for a natural look, downtown streets and architecture for an elevated editorial feel, and campus spots for grads who want something iconic and personal.

If you’re not sure what fits you best, don’t worry — once you tell me your style and outfit ideas, I’ll guide you to the best option.

What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?

No stress — I’m always keeping an eye on the forecast leading up to your session. If it’s calling for heavy rain, strong winds, or anything that would impact the quality of your photos, we’ll make a plan together. We can either reschedule to the next best available date or pivot to a covered/indoor location that still matches your vibe.

Cloudy days are actually beautiful for photos (soft, even lighting), so we usually only adjust plans if the weather will make the session uncomfortable or unsafe. My goal is always to make sure you still get the best experience and the best gallery possible.
